We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishroom Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent physical stamina and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform dishwashing, pot washing, and general cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining room area.
• Empty trash containers and replace liners as required.
• Restock supplies and equipment in the dishroom and surrounding areas.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and the kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of food as directed by supervisor.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role or in a food service environment an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
