About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Specialist to join our team at our plasma donation centers. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and satisfaction of donors by performing medical evaluations, educating donors on health issues, and managing donor injuries while maintaining a confidential and supportive environment.
Your key responsibilities will include building rapport with donors, providing education on general health and potential hazards, evaluating and managing donor injuries and adverse events, and assisting in employee training. You will also be expected to maintain confidentiality and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- CPR certification
- Ability to communicate effectively with donors and staff
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
