Job Summary
This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the facility's environmental impact, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as the facility Environmental Manager, reporting to the ESH Manager.
- Oversees all facility Environmental compliance with legal and Central requirements.
- Internal and external environmental reporting, recordkeeping, and monitoring.
- Environmental regulations and requirements evaluation for new projects.
- Project permitting and data gathering.
- Environmental compliance litigation assistance.
- Oversight of waste handling contractor(s).
- Environmental training, awareness, and communication.
- Implement and maintain an environmental management system according to ISO 14001 and internal standards.
- Environmental audit and inspection reporting and corrective action implementation oversight.
- Implementation and maintenance of central environmental initiatives and programs.
- Develop concepts, procedures, or work instructions for environmental protection and continuous improvement.
