Key Responsibilities
This individual will be responsible for installing, programming, and implementing various automation systems at customer sites throughout North America and South America. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing onsite commissioning of new equipment following established criteria.
- Physically troubleshooting and repairing production equipment to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved.
- Training customers' personnel in safe and effective equipment operation.
- Collaborating with in-house Production Department and Field Service Department personnel to troubleshoot electrical/programming-related issues with systems being manufactured and in service.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years prior Industrial Mechanical or Field Service experience.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, hydraulic & pneumatic theories of operation, and electrical theory.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Experience in business travel.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
- Legally permitted to work in the United States.
