To excel in this role, you should have strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, the ability to read and understand technical and service manuals, and prior experience in administering appropriate PM programs.
This role requires a minimum of 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic. You should also have knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations as pertaining to the shop and fleet, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
