Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Engine Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our heavy equipment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance on heavy-duty diesel engines and related systems to identify issues.
- Disassemble and reassemble truck components, including refrigerated units, diesel engines, transmissions, axles, and other systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory to ensure compliance and streamline operations.
Requirements
- 21 years of age
- Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in diesel mechanics preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a heavy equipment diesel mechanic
