We are seeking an experienced Life Sciences AI Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge image analysis solutions. As part of our cross-functional team, you will be working closely with biologists, data scientists, and software engineers to design, develop, and implement advanced AI-driven image analysis solutions.
Your primary focus will be on accelerating scientific discovery and improving healthcare outcomes through the application of cutting-edge image analysis techniques. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing AI algorithms for image analysis, collaborating with teams to solve biological challenges, and communicating results effectively.
Main Responsibilities:
- Designing AI Algorithms: Develop and optimize AI algorithms for image analysis, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Collaborating with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to solve biological challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and communicate results effectively.
- Data Management: Oversee the collection, preprocessing, and analysis of large-scale image datasets, ensuring high-quality data for accurate insights.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need to possess a strong educational background in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's or Ph.D. is strongly preferred. Additionally, you should have at least 7 years of experience in data analysis, with a minimum of 3 years focused on image analysis in the life science or biomedical research sector.
You will also require experience in applying AI and machine learning techniques to image data, proficiency in Python and/or R, and strong expertise in image processing tools such as OpenCV and scikit-image. Familiarity with life science research and clinical applications is also essential.
