Live Hang Team:
We are looking for a highly motivated and physically capable individual to join our live hang team as a production team member.
Key Responsibilities:
- Moving live turkeys from bird cages to moving shackles without causing harm
- Performing repetitive tasks without assistance from tools
- Rotating through different jobs within the department and performing multiple tasks
- May be assigned to any job in the department by a supervisor
Working Conditions:
The working environment may vary depending on the department, but common conditions include:
- Temperature fluctuations between hot and cold temperatures
- Damp-to-wet conditions
- Loud/noisy environments
- Exposure to live birds, raw meat, and associated parts
- Work with loud machinery
- Work with or around chemicals/fumes/pungent odors
- Mandatory overtime or weekend work
- Mandatory seasonal work during peak periods
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more per day)
- Lifting, carrying, climbing, twisting, pushing, and pulling up to sixty (60) pounds
- Ability to grip, grasp, and lift repetitively throughout the workday
- Operating handheld and/or mechanical machinery
- Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and hygiene gear
