About the Role
This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team to maintain and repair equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and repair of production fixtures, machinery, and equipment using welding, plasma cutting, and other fabricating skills.
- Performing daily checks on vacuum furnace fluids and general operating parameters.
- Repairing or replacing furnace thermocouples, maintaining facility-wide lighting equipment, and assisting maintenance personnel as needed.
- Conducting and documenting preventive maintenance programs tasks, maintaining spare parts inventory, and performing minor repairs to vacuum furnace components.
