We are seeking a highly motivated Molecular Biologist to join our research team. The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge research projects focusing on mechanosensitive proteins, ultrasound transducers, gene delivery systems, and novel ion channels. As a Molecular Biologist, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing data demonstrating the design and validation of custom ultrasound transducers for non-invasive delivery. You will also maintain detailed records of experimental procedures and results, ensuring compliance with data management policies. Additionally, you will prepare reports, contribute to publications, and present findings at research meetings.
About the Role:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have expertise in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, Western blotting, and immunocytochemistry. Familiarity with microscopy techniques and data analysis software is also required. You should be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment. Computer skills required include Microsoft Office, MATLAB or any programming language. A Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related scientific discipline is required, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a scientific role. Preference will be given to candidates with a Master's degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field. Experience with bioinformatics tools for gene expression analysis is an added advantage.
