The Registered Nurse in the Surgery department provides patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsibilities
• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions
• Perform various tasks related to patient care, including vital sign monitoring and medication administration
Requirements
• Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Basic computer skills and ability to work in a smoke-free campus environment
• Critical thinking skills, decision-making abilities, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions
