- Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.
Data Entry & Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems, including 401k elections, garnishments, child support wage attachments, and pay/position changes.
- Ensure payroll compliance and accuracy in all transactions.
Record Keeping & Reporting
- Maintain accurate payroll records for audits and reporting purposes.
Employee Support
- Assist employees with payroll-related questions and resolve paycheck issues.
Requirements
- Experience in payroll processing for a medium-sized company (200 employees).
- General understanding of taxes, garnishments, reporting, compliance, and payroll labor laws.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel.
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
