We are seeking a highly skilled Spectrum Management Specialist to join our team in Quantico, VA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing frequency assignments, developing required frequency plans, and preparing radio frequency applications. They will work closely with NTIA, the FCC, and other Government Agencies to ensure compliance with established policies.
The Spectrum Management Specialist will utilize Spectrum XXI tool to perform their duties. They will also be responsible for reviewing, correcting, and updating frequency assignments in accordance with the NTIA Five-Year Review Program.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radio frequency management, with experience supporting radio systems. They will also possess experience with federal spectrum frequency allocation and assignments, and using the Spectrum XXI tool for national level assignment.
- We require at least ten years of experience in an engineering and spectrum management discipline, such as radio frequency assignment, spectrum certification, spectrum allocation, and spectrum policy/regulation/procedures
- Robust knowledge of radio frequency management, experience supporting radio systems, and experience with federal spectrum frequency allocation and assignments are essential
