In this role, you will work under the supervision of an Administrative Supervisor or Director, operating magnetic resonance scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate magnetic resonance scanners to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.
- Select appropriate imaging techniques based on patient needs and physician orders.
- Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to PACS systems, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a graduate degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is preferred.
- ARRT (MR) certification or registry eligibility within 18 months of employment.
- Prior experience as an MRI technologist; strong background in cross-sectional anatomy and 3-D knowledge.
