About the Role
The Radiology Tech II is a key member of our imaging team, responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic and other imaging procedures. This role requires strong communication skills to ensure excellent customer service and successful completion of imaging needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultra Sound or Special Procedures according to department protocols.
- Function as the first line interface with customers and be successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
- Participate in PI/ QC activities.
- Assist in Maintaining Performance Improvement Program.
- Oversee radiology area and/or staff in Manager's / Director's absence.
- Maintain department supplies.
- Promote teamwork and good customer service.
Qualifications
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
- Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.
- Current BCLS (AHA).
- Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
- One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.
- Proficient computer skills.
