We are seeking a senior accounting and finance leader to fill the role of Senior Accounting and Finance Leader. This is a critical position that requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to oversee financial operations, manage the month-end close process, and lead financial planning and analysis activities.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles, Epicor ERP software, and financial management tools. They will be responsible for developing and implementing standard costs and cost accounting processes, reviewing and approving capex requests, and utilizing Epicor ERP system to streamline financial processes and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including forecasting and variance analysis.
- Develop and implement standard costs and cost accounting processes to enhance profitability.
- Review and approve capex requests and ensure proper resource allocation for projects.
- Utilize Epicor ERP system to streamline financial processes and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to the finance team, fostering professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably in the medical device or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with Epicor ERP software and other financial management tools.
- Experience with financial planning, forecasting, and cost accounting methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
