Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of speech and language development and be able to provide supportive services to students. The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant will work closely with Speech-Language Pathologists to implement treatment plans and document student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists with evaluations and screenings
- Implement individualized education plans developed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
- Provide direct therapy services addressing treatment goals
- Collect data and document student performance and report information in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Active California SLPA license
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- At least one year of recent relevant experience preferred
- School experience is preferred but not required
