Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a key member of our supply management team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining supplier relationships to maximize business growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develops and advances trusting relationships with suppliers, evaluates business initiatives, and recommends appropriate courses of action.
- Maintains knowledge of market conditions and negotiates contracts to maximize business opportunities.
- Liaises between the supply management team and suppliers to ensure effective communication and transaction flow.
- Leads annual demand planning process in collaboration with the sales department.
- Evaluates risk and advises payment or payment hold to the accounting team; ensures resolution of complex supplier accounting matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in supplier management.
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Agribusiness, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and strong team spirit.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong negotiation and presentation skills.
