We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to work in Infection Control for a travel nursing position. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care and infectious disease management, as well as certifications in Infection Prevention & Control.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective infection control measures to prevent the spread of diseases.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and address potential infection risks.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Requirements:
- AHA BLS/CPR certification.
- CIC certification.
- Valid CA, RN license.
- Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required.
- Expert-level knowledge of HAI detection via NHSN criteria.
- Familiarity with Epic charting system.
