Job Description
The successful Vision Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing machine learning models for processing measurement system data. You will collaborate with the measurements group to develop approaches for data manipulation to assist with production and quality feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the measurements group to develop approaches for data manipulation to assist with production and quality feedback.
- Design and implement machine learning models for processing measurement system data.
- Transfer technology from early-stage development to a product suitable for use in manufacturing.
- Create/update documentation for release to production for applications and procedures.
- Train engineering, maintenance, and operations people on how to use and maintain developed applications and procedures.
- Provide remote and onsite troubleshooting using data and performance analysis of deployed applications.
Requirements
- Programming ability (C# & Python strongly preferred)
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and other software architecture concepts
- Experience training CNNs and utilizing traditional machine learning methods
- Data retrieval, plotting, and analysis
- Knowledge of image processing algorithms (blob analysis, edge finding, morphology, feature extraction, classification, metrology)
- Strong communication and presentation skills (MS Office programs)
