Role Summary

The Junior Investment Advisor plays a critical role in supporting senior investment advisors/investment advisors with client and portfolio management responsibilities.

This position involves preparing for meetings, researching materials, and collaborating with clients and institutions to create investment plans.

To effectively deliver investment outcomes that meet or exceed client goals and objectives, a strong understanding of investments and portfolio management principles is essential.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee client portfolios according to established goals, IPS, and organizational standards.
• Nurture strong working relationships with clients and their advisors to gain a thorough understanding of their needs.
• Regularly communicate with clients to review goals and objectives, confirming the suitability of the current investment plan.
• Ensure portfolios align with approved security lists and investment parameters through annual Reg 9 reviews.
• Identify new business opportunities from existing clients, prospects, and centers of influence.
• Maintain a solid understanding of investment principles and portfolio management concepts.
• Participate in the development and enhancement of the investment offering by sharing expertise on industry trends, professional development, and client experiences.
• Represent the organization at external events and conferences.
• Support the organization's mission, strategy, and values.

Essential Qualifications

• College degree and substantial experience in investment management.
• Thorough knowledge of investment and portfolio management theory, along with a fundamental understanding of financial planning principles.
• Knowledge of fiduciary, tax, and regulatory requirements impacting investment management.
• Excellent investment management skills and dedication to delivering outstanding client outcomes.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
