We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Carry out industrial cleaning procedures in compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the functionality of the building.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.
- Provide commercial cleaning services for various types of facilities, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Act as a porter by transporting supplies and equipment within the facility.
Skills
- Proficiency in floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance of different flooring types.
- Experience in industrial cleaning practices and custodial duties is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean effectively and efficiently.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures is an asset.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards and practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
