Resident Care Manager

A Resident Care Manager in Giddings, TX, typically oversees the daily operations of a senior living facility, ensuring residents receive quality care, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with regulations.Key Responsibilities:

• Resident Care:
• Assessing and Planning: Assessing residents' needs and developing individualized care plans, ensuring they are followed.
• Implementing Care: Overseeing the implementation of care plans, including activities of daily living (ADLs) like dressing, bathing, and eating.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Monitoring residents' conditions, reporting any changes or incidents, and ensuring appropriate interventions.
• Quality Assurance: Ensuring the delivery of quality care and services, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
• Communication: Maintaining open communication with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Staff Management:
• Training: Train staff, including nursing assistants and other care providers.
• Scheduling: Developing and managing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Facility Operations:
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as those related to resident care, safety, and infection control.
• Incident Management: Investigating and addressing incidents or complaints related to resident care.
• Coordination: Coordinating with other departments, uch as the activities department or dietary services.
• Other Duties:

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Requires a nursing degree (RN or LPN/LVN) or a related healthcare background.
