Job Summary
BYC is hiring!! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years experience and a strong background in behavioral therapy and a passion for working with children, particularly those with autism and other developmental disorders. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, providing direct therapy, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families and other professionals to enhance the quality of care provided to our clients. Work with an amazing and brilliant team of speech pathologists, occupational therapist and teachers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the behavioral needs of children.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Collect and analyze data to track client progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and staff on behavior management techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with children, particularly those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles.
- Proficient in data collection methods and medical documentation practices.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient assessment and collaboration.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team focused on patient care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
