The General Foreman is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by observing employee behavior and promoting the Bechtel Zero Accident objective. This includes providing feedback and enforcing consequences for safe or unsafe behavior. Additionally, the General Foreman must be able to read and interpret blueprints, understand job specifications, and implement Bechtel's job procedures and work rules. They must also be knowledgeable of other craft disciplines to facilitate work coordination between crafts.
