Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Overseeing all piping field engineering activities related to our projects.
- Working closely with the Home Office PSS group to define scopes and assist in estimating site execution portions of the work.
- Providing technical direction to craft professionals, supervision, and procurement teams.
- Coordinating directly with Customer Operations and Maintenance/Capital Project Teams.
- Participating in planning, post-scope execution evaluation, and judicious evaluation of scoping options.
Education and Experience Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to meet the following education and experience requirements:
- University degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- 6 years of industry experience or 10 years of equivalent industry experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience managing technical services subcontracts (preferred).
- Experience on an LNG construction site, particularly along the U.S. Gulf Coast (preferred).
- Technical knowledge of piping construction engineering and ability to interpret design drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
