Project Overview
Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The Infrastructure Global Business Unit (GBU) is executing site civil and marine scopes of work associated with our scopes of work on the Energy LNG projects. The successful candidate will serve as the Infrastructure Project Controls Supervisor based in Port Arthur, TX.
Job Summary
In this role, you will lead a team to manage cost engineering, cost estimating, forecasting, and planning/scheduling for a project that requires technical skill and expertise. You will provide leadership, oversight, guidance, training, and mentoring to your team to ensure successful project execution and delivery.

Job Summary
In this role, you will lead a team to manage cost engineering, cost estimating, forecasting, and planning/scheduling for a project that requires technical skill and expertise. You will provide leadership, oversight, guidance, training, and mentoring to your team to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
Major Responsibilities
- Manages and supervises schedule development, maintenance, forecasting, and impact identification activities
- Manages and supervises cost estimating, control, analysis, and reporting activities
- Supervises cost trend program and coordinates impacts and recommendations to management
- Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules, budgets, and goals
- Provides leadership and guidance to subordinates and works together collaboratively
- Prepares and presents cost engineering/estimating/planning and scheduling information to Bechtel and client management
- Implements measurement systems for given processes, analyzes performance metric results, and identifies areas of improvement
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, construction management, business or related field required
- Minimum 10-13 years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated experience in performing, monitoring and reviewing cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, project setup, control, analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting/systems
- Demonstrated experience in performing, monitoring and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and analysis
- Demonstrated experience in change management, including trend program
- Skilled in oral and written communication, including experience presenting information to internal and external stakeholders
- Advanced level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes, as performed by Bechtel
- Advanced skill in Microsoft Office software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
