Project Overview
The Cheniere Corpus Christi Liquefaction (CCL) Project is a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) export facility located on the north shore of Corpus Christi Bay in Gregory, Texas. The 1,000 acre facility started bulk early works in July 2015 as the first greenfield export facility in the United States. Bechtel has successfully and safely completed construction and it now consists of three operating Trains with an LNG production capacity of approximately 15 million tons per year (MTPA), three LNG storage tanks with combined capacity of 480,000 cubic meters of LNG, 2 Jetty superstructures that can accommodate the world’s largest vessels, and dozens of associated buildings and utilities.
Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project Stage 3 (CCL3) is a new phase at the existing CCL facility and will consist of seven midscale liquefaction trains with an LNG production capacity of approximately 10 MTPA and associated infrastructure including utilities. CCL3 will perform all this work predominantly on a direct hire basis with support from only a few specialty and service subcontractors.
Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor will report to the Inventory Manager and is responsible for managing material receipt, storage, custody, issues of material to and from procurement laydowns, and project surplus. Manages a team of both professional staff and craft professionals to support material handling in laydowns and coordinates with Inventory Control to facilitate material receiving and issuing documentation. Maintains direct working relationship with carriers and vendors concerning the receipt, delivery, and storage of project materials.
Work may require field inspections and the physical ability to conduct field inspections including but not limited to: extensive walking in and around a construction site often in high heat and high humidity conditions, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces, and working in small or confined spaces. Some lifting may be required. Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress). Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. harness, life vest, lift buckets, etc.)

Major Responsibilities
- Responsible for material management operations for project temporary operating and jobsite locations to ensure conformance to corporate, global business unit and project policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the receipt, inspection, storage, inventory control (manual and/or automated), physical security and issue of materials and equipment.
- Responsible for identifying the need and completing the action for all unsatisfactory, over, short and damaged material and equipment received at project temporary operating and jobsite locations.
- Initiating actions to identify and dispose of material and equipment declared excess to project needs by project management.
- Prepares or assists in the preparation of initial organizational charts for material management activities at temporary operating and jobsite locations. Submits proposed changes for approval of the Project Field Procurement Manager.
- Directs the physical count and inspection of arriving material
- Reviews Material Receiving Reports (MRRs) for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness as required
- Continually audits BPS / Sitesense data for accuracy and timeliness
- Ensures documentation to record unsatisfactory over, short, and damage conditions of material received; ensures that corrective action is expeditiously completed and that formal Unsatisfactory, Over, Short & Damaged Reports are prepared for permanent record
- Ensures that material is stored in accordance with the project procurement storage plan and that the location of material in storage is properly recorded on the appropriate storage records (manually or automated)
- Reviews the accomplishment of physical inventories on a timely basis to ensure valid records are continuously maintained
- Participates in the project materials protection program in conjunction with other responsible groups within the project organization
- Maintains custody of project materials
- Ensures issues are property controlled and documented in accordance with project procedures
- Supports overseeing the offsite aspects of material control for the project surplus program
- Helps develop and oversee the handover of Capital/Operations spares to the operations team
- University/B.S degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or other related discipline plus 6 years of experience or 10 years of equivalent industry experience in-lieu of a degree.
- Previous demonstrated project experience as an Inventory or Warehouse Specialist
- Experience in the specialized area of construction material control
- Proficiency in planning, personnel guidance, and knowledge of procedures concerning shipping, receipt, storage, and issue of construction materials and the administration of documentation associated with these actions
- Experience and knowledge of the Microsoft office suite, and BPS or other material management system
- Demonstrated understanding of procurement processes and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to effectively & positively motivate team members in a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve in high pressure situations.
- Good knowledge in MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and other common applications used on the construction industry.
- Experience on an LNG construction site especially along the U.S. Gulf Coast.
- Experience managing technical services subcontracts.
- Understanding of applicable Bechtel work processes including Standard Work Process Procedures.
- Familiarity with Bechtel Standard Applications (BSAPs) including Setroute, Unifier, Aconex, DSCS, PTR, Agile, Navisworks, and other automation tools which are used on Bechtel projects.
