Job Summary
As the Oracle Cloud Support and Operations Unit Manager at BPMI, you will be responsible for operational support of BPMI's Oracle Cloud environment. This role ensures the Oracle Cloud system meets BPMI requirements, supports business operations, is optimized for performance, and aligns with strategic goals. The unit manager leads a team of technical and functional staff, coordinates with stakeholders, and oversees system upgrades, patches, and issue resolution.
Essential Duties :
Oversee the Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment and operational activities, ensuring their availability, performance, and security.Lead and manage a team of functional and IT technical analysts, administrators, and developers.Manage application configurations, customizations, and integrations with other enterprise systems.Establish and monitor system performance metrics, addressing any deficiencies proactively.Manage workload assignments and ensure timely resolution of support requests and delivery of enhancement projects.Collaborate with Oracle and the system integrator vendor to ensure timely and high-quality support is provided to the end users.Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that align with organizational requirements and business goals.Ensure adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements, such as information protection and cybersecurity.Serve as the Information System Owner (ISO) - The ISO owns the information system and is responsible for its procurement, development, integration, modification, operation, maintenance, and disposal. The ISO is the manager responsible for the security of the information system under their cognizance and shall ensure that these systems become, and remain, compliant with the Cybersecurity Risk Management Plan (CSRMP) and their system security plan (SSP).Plan, coordinate, and implement quarterly system updates, patches, and upgrades.Conduct impact analyses to assess the effects of updates on business operations and custom configurations.Stay current with Oracle Fusion ERP and OCI advancements and recommend adoption when appropriate.Identify opportunities to optimize or enhance the ERP system to improve efficiency and user experience.Evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance ERP functionality and performance.Facilitate communication between business units and the technical team to ensure effective system utilization.Maintain system documentation, including workflows, configurations, and integration mappings.The essential duties identified are representative but are not intended to be an exhaustive or inclusive list of all the responsibilities of the position.What You Can Expect :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, supply chain management, business management / administration or equivalent education from an accredited college or university.A minimum of six (6) years of relevant work experience. An advanced degree may be considered in lieu of one year of experience.Requires a security clearance; however, all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy security clearance is required.Preferred Job Requirements :
Previous experience in operation or administration or management of a business system (e.g., ERP, in general, or Oracle, specifically).Previous experience in operation or administration or management of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)Ability to creatively work to provide effective solutions and meet business requirements within the boundaries of the Commercial-off-the Shelf (COTS) business system.Knowledge of or experience with applying NIST Special Publication 800-37 "Risk Management Framework for Information Systems and Organizations".Knowledge of or experience with applying the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program Cybersecurity Risk Management Plan (CSRMP).Knowledge of or experience with the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) for applying a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services.Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) across all levels of an organization.Keen attention to detail.Why BPMI?
