Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to clients, including help with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to client preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Assist clients with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules.
- Offer transportation assistance for appointments, errands, or social activities.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on client needs and preferences.
- Support clients with memory-related challenges through engaging activities and companionship.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client progress and needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior care or home care settings is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.
- Ability to assist clients with personal hygiene tasks respectfully and sensitively.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is highly desirable.
- Experience in developing care plans tailored to individual client needs is a plus.
- Basic cooking skills to prepare meals that meet dietary requirements.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.
