Purpose of role
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful estimation and management of electrical projects for our clients' industrial installations, automated warehouses, and production lines. You will work closely with the Electrical Project Manager and technicians to ensure the smooth install, integration and functionality of electrical systems.
Main responsibilities
· Assist in producing the estimation, proposal, installation and implementation of electrical systems for industrial installations, automated warehouses, and production lines.
· Collaborate with project managers and technicians to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications.
· Oversees, scheduling and coordination of internal and external resources for project completion
· Assist in cost tracking and financial control of projects.
· Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including system specifications, user manuals, and quality control processes.
· Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
· Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices (NEC) related to electrical systems.
· Assist in insuring projects adhere to all relevant safety guidelines and regulations during the implementation of electrical systems.
· Assist in reporting on contract performance regularly and to Company standard requirements, ensuring all potential opportunities, variations and risks are identified and reported to the Operations Manager as soon as possible

Experience and qualifications required
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related work experience.
Prior experience in both industrial and commercial electrical projects is preferred.
Broad understanding of electrical systems infrastructure, protection & distribution requirements, commercial and industrial construction industry practices, construction contracts, and budget/schedule management etc
Electrical estimating with software such as McCormick or Accubid.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Excell, Word, and Teams.
· Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Personal characteristics required
· Ability to travel 50-75% of the work schedule
· Excellent written and verbal skills at technical and professional levels
· Familiarity of construction contracts
· Solution oriented.
· Able to work at a consistent level under pressure and demanding deadlines
· Able to work with others in various team environments and to be confident with people at all levels;
· Excellent time management skills, and able to prioritise multiple tasks
