What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Advisor position at Beck's Trailer Store?
Beck's Trailer Store, the nation's largest trailer dealer, is growing and we are looking for a motivated trailer Service Advisor for our Parts & Service Department. Compensation includes hourly salary plus commission.
Service Advisor Duties Include:
- Effectively assist customers in-store, over the phone, text & email
- Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies & labor
- Prepare work orders
- Serve as the communicator & the liaison between the customer & technicians ensuring the customer needs are understood by the technicians & the needed and/or recommended repairs are understood by the customer
- Communicate additional repairs needed based on inspection of the repair unit
- Present a friendly, professional greeting to the customer then help identify, confirm & offer resolution to each customer's concern
- Verify warranty coverage & submit warranty claims
- Schedule pickup & delivery for repair work
Service Advisor Qualifications
- Mechanical background
- Strong work ethic & attendance
- Ability to work efficiently & effectively while multi-tasking
- Ability to make every customer feel like they are the most important customer of the day
- Strong communication skills
- Efficient computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to work as a TEAM
- Reliable transportation
- Previous Parts or Service counter experience a plus
