Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of sales associates to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor to set a positive example for the team.
- Implement and uphold high standards for customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling.
- Utilize your understanding of showroom display and design aesthetics to create an inviting and visually appealing sales floor.
- Take calculated risks to drive sales and improve store performance.
- Understand and apply basic human resource policies related to team management, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with the corporate team to develop and execute sales strategies and promotional events.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of furniture retail sales experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of furniture retail management experience.
- Highly extroverted and charismatic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales goals.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work 45 hours per week.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Driven to produce results and take initiative.
- Strong understanding of showroom display and design aesthetics.
- Knowledge of basic human resource policies and team management practices.
