About the Opportunity
Becker Health/MedHQ is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join their team on a local contract basis in East Setauket, New York. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality diagnostic imaging services for patients.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating imaging equipment and performing diagnostic X-rays as ordered by physicians. Additionally, they will assist in preparing operating/procedure rooms as needed, document radiation exposure duration, and maintain necessary documentation, logs, and equipment reports related to radiology services.
Requirements and Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiology Technicians (ARRT) certification
- Minimum one-year fluoroscopy experience
- BLS certification
- ASC experience preferred
- Ability to work in other areas of the center
