About the Role:
This is a full-time contract nursing position in the ICU setting, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, developing and implementing individualized patient care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Implement evidence-based interventions to improve patient outcomes
- Monitor patient vital signs and lab results, and make adjustments to care plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Kansas
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
