Job Description
Skill: Radiology Technologist
Work Type: Local Contract
Hours: 24 hours per week
Duration: 52 weeks
This is a part-time position, requiring availability Monday, Thursday, and Friday. The schedule consists of three 8-hour shifts with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities.
Requirements:
- American Registry of Radiology Technicians (ARRT) certification
- Minimum of one year of fluoroscopy experience
- BLS certification
- PREFERRED: ASC experience, ability to work in other areas of the center
Main Function:
The Radiology Technologist will operate imaging equipment and perform diagnostic X-rays as ordered by the physician and under their guidance. They will also assist in preparing operating/procedure rooms, document radiation duration, test equipment weekly, examine protective X-ray aprons for integrity, and maintain necessary documentation.
