CO-RN CCU Nights

Job Description :

The CCU is a 13 bed-unit providing multiple levels of care to patients of all ages (neonate to geriatric). Patient conditions can range from intensive care to observational care.

SHIFT : 12-hour night shift including weekend rotation; must agree to be in the call rotation and take 1 call shift per 2-week period (following VV s pay schedule) in place of guaranteed hours that week, if requested due to staffing needs.

Requirements :

Current Colorado RN license

Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association

At least 1 year Med / Surg experience in an acute care setting

2 years RN Critical Care experience is required and CVICU experience is a plus.

Must be willing to cross-train to pediatrics, care for intermediate care patients and float to med surg if needed.
