The Position : Infection Control Director
Essential Job Functions :
Gather and analyze infection data, facts, and trends and communicate this information to other healthcare staff.
Conduct ongoing review of facility infection policies, procedures, and guidelines to identify infection control discrepancies and implement revisions as necessary.
Make recommendations regarding environmental rounds and assure compliance with standards.
Minimum Qualifications :
RN or LPN with 3 years clinical experience
Certifications and Licenses :
Infection Control Certification is a plus
