What are the responsibilities and job description for the Door Manufacturing | Woodworking | Finishing position at Becker Millwork and Doors?
Becker Millwork and Doors is a Fargo based company specializing in the production of wood door and millwork products. All items are produced from raw materials, through the use of hands on craftsmanship and modern technology.
As a team member you will be part of a production team that works on a wide array of product types, specializing in customized designs and finishes, always striving for the highest standard of quality.
Position Description:
- Working with wood products throughout the different stages of building, finishing and shipping
- Machine and hand sanding of component parts and finish products
- Assemble doors with clamping and gluing
- Handle material and operate equipment throughout the stages of fabricating components - for example use of wide belt sander, planer, ban saw, etc.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of power tools and machinery used in woodworking.
- Ability to read and interpret product drawings and schematics.
- Some experience in carpentry or woodworking preferred, but not required.
- Some experience in wood finishing is preferred, but not required
- Valid drivers license
Overall the ideal candidate is able to manage their time efficiently completing their work in a timely matter, able to communicate and work well with other team members and brings care and a positive attitude towards their work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 - $23.75 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
