Job Overview
We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and customer service, with a focus on pet, garden, gifts, and candy. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment.
Hours may be flexible. Primary need Tuesday-Friday 1:00pm-5:30pm (close). Rotating Saturdays 9:00am-5:00pm (or every Saturday preferred). Sunday hours available starting in May - 3 hour shift 11am-2pm.
Duties
- Engage customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Provide product information and recommendations to customers
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Assist in inventory management and restocking shelves
- Organizational skills for managing inventory and displays
Experience and Required Skills:
- Sales experience recommended but can train
- Basic math skills for retail transactions
- Proficiency with cash handling and retail math
- Strong communication skills in English
*Must be able to lift 50lbs to assist customers with carrying products to vehicle.
*Must have good attendance record from previous employers.
