Our client, located in Dripping Springs, is looking to add an Accountant to their growing team to perform all aspects of the accounting function for the company with an emphasis in accounts payable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Ensure accurate G/L coding for invoices.
· Process invoices and get all invoices approved by business owners.
· Process expense reimbursements and ensure company policy compliance.
· Manage weekly AP payment process from recommended payments to mailing checks.
· Assist with ad-hoc payments.
· Own and manage A/P aging.
· Assist accounting team on various month-end closing tasks including prepaid schedules, journal entries and GL account reconciliations within established timeframe.
· Own the credit card processes including statement reconciliation to account posting.
· Assist in developing, documenting, and enforcing accounts payable policies and procedures.
· Invoice clients as directed by project management and contract specifications.
· Contact client to collect on all past due A/R
