What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate and Securities Associate position at Becker?
Becker is a diverse, multi-practice, commercial law firm with offices in Florida, New York, New Jersey, Washington, DC. and Milan, and international affiliates.
We are currently seeking a Corporate and Securities Associate for our New York location. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dedicated, and seeks a collaborative environment that will provide opportunities for growth and advancement. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
- 33 Act securities offerings, including IPOs, SPACs and private financings
- 34 Act reporting including 10-Ks, 10-Qs 8-Ks and Section 16 reports
- Mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital investments
- Corporate governance and securities compliance
- Broker-dealer and investment advisor regulatory experience a plus
A minimum of 3 years of experience is required. Successful candidates will also have excellent skills in client relations. Must be a Member of the New York Bar. Salary commensurate with experience ranging from $140-160K
The position is based in New York City and we expect associates to work in the NY office at least three days a week.
