Position: Overnight Youth Counselor (Full Time, 4 Days a Week!)
Program: Boys Group Home
Location: Belgrade, Maine
Pay: Up to $23/Hr Depending on Experience!
Overnight Schedule:
Sunday 11pm-8am
Monday 11pm-8am
Tuesday 11pm-8am
Wednesday 11pm-8am
Job Description:
The Overnight Youth Counselor provides supervision and support to adolescent boys in a residential treatment setting. Our program has a very high staff to student ratio, which provides a stable therapeutic environment for both our youth and our employees. Your primary role is assisting children with mental health and emotional challenges in a residential setting.
This position offers a very competitive hourly wage and requires no previous experience, though additional consideration is given to those with previous experience. The position includes a generous benefits package including health insurance, dental, paid sick time, retirement (403B), and paid time-off. Paid training is also included, which covers TCI (Therapeutic Crisis Intervention), First Aid, CPR, and CRMA training (Certified Residential Medication Aide). Job Requirements:
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED.
- Must pass a criminal and child protective background check.

What is Residential Treatment?
The Becket House at Belgrade is a specialized Residential Treatment Center for Boys that allows them to engage in intensive therapy in order to confront the challenges of severe childhood trauma. At the Becket House at Belgrade, individuals have the opportunity to address behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs with the guidance of licensed mental health counselors and Behavioral Health Professionals.
