Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Case Manager to handle plaintiff property damage claims. The ideal candidate will manage the claims process from intake through resolution, ensuring that all necessary documentation is collected, organized, and processed efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, and experience with case management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake of new property damage claims, ensuring all necessary details are recorded.
- Input and maintain accurate case information in the case management system.
- Communicate professionally with clients, insurance adjusters, and other parties involved in the claims process.
- Request and obtain public records related to property damage claims.
- Gather and organize supporting documents such as repair estimates, police reports, medical records, and insurance documentation.
- Draft and send correspondence related to claims management.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) for documentation, reporting, and client communication.
- Maintain case files and documentation in accordance with firm policies.
- Assist attorneys and legal staff with case preparation as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in case management, insurance claims, legal assistance, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and case management software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling case files and data entry.
- Knowledge of property damage claims and personal injury law is a plus.
