Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooter and Repairer of all stamping equipment.
- Trainer of stamping equipment troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
- Troubleshooter and Repairer of all mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Significant Contributor to new stamping plant upgrade and replacement projects.
- Increase uptime of stamping presses.
- Grow team skills in stamping equipment maintenance.
- Improve stamping equipment Preventive Maintenance program.
- Drive 5S improvements in Maintenance areas.
- Drive ongoing improvement in stamping plant safety performance.
Continuous Improvement:
- Maintain inventory of stamping plant spare parts.
- Identify potential or impending failures and implement effective preventive countermeasures.
- Complete stamping equipment inspections and preventive maintenance procedures on-time.
- Participate in all stamp plant projects with a focus on reliability of new systems.
- Willingly support rapid return-to-service plans whenever called upon.
- Maintain and continuously improve one or more 5S areas as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in direct support of high-volume stamping press operations is strongly preferred.
- Must be familiar with mechanical and electrical systems of 100 – 600 ton stamping presses.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team.
- Proven ability and willingness to train others effectively.
- Must be able to interpret hydraulic and electric diagrams and schematics.
- Knowledge of proper rigging techniques is required.
