We are seeking a Device Test QA Assistant for acceptance testing of voice and GPS medical devices. Reporting to the Device Test Engineer, the Device QA Assistant will work on reviewing and executing test plans, test procedures, and test automation scripts to ensure that systems meet specification.

- Set up a test environment with computer, measurement and software tools
- Work with engineers to develop and maintain test procedures
- Follow test plans, execute test procedures, log test results, publish test reports
- Record data in databases and spreadsheets, analyze data
- Coordinate with development engineers in debugging and troubleshooting problems
- Maintain test and measurement equipment
- Associate degree or some college progress in electrical engineering or computer engineering
- Excitement and willingness to learn and expand knowledge in electrical or computer engineering
- Some experience in a test laboratory, manufacturing, or similar field is preferred
- Electrical and/or mechanical experience in setting-up, operating or servicing test and measuring
- equipment
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, Cellular, Wireless, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, Networking, 4G, LTE, 5G, VoLTE
- Programming or scripting skills for test automation
- Quality Certifications desired such as Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma, CQE, CQA, CQM or RAB
- Environmental chambers, test sets, electrical and mechanical test equipment
- Experience building fixtures
- Firmware or embedded programming experience
- Embedded systems hardware design or manufacturing
- Team player with a can-do attitude
- Must have an eye for details and ability to spot and document deviations from common practice
- Highly self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision and under pressure
- Must be able to communicate effectively and prioritize in order to meet the schedule
- Must have a strong work ethic
