RV Lot Porter / Forklift Driver

What you’d be doing: Our RV Lot Porters are responsible for using a forklift to safely move our customers’ RVs in/out of the shop and around our service and storage lots. You would work closely with Service Advisors and Technicians to ensure a smooth and efficient flow throughout the shop. At Beckley’s, we strive to get our customers back on the road as quickly as possible and our RV Porters play a huge role in making that happen.

What we’re looking for:

• Self-motivated go-getters with a strong work ethic and solid work history
• Forklift certified and/or extensive experience operating a forklift
• CDL is NOT required, but the more experience you have with towing, backing, and otherwise maneuvering large trailers in relatively small areas, the better!
• Experience operating heavy equipment is helpful, but not required
• Must be flexible and able to effectively prioritize time-sensitive responsibilities
• Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment
• Must be able to work outside in all elements and weather conditions

What you need to know: Hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday, and alternating half-day Saturdays. This is a non-exempt position, which means you are eligible for overtime pay. Starting pay is $17-19/hour, depending on experience.
