The Advanced Production Technician for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for leading the Autoclave production area.
This position is part of the Manufacturing Services department located in Hialeah, FL, and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Diagnostics Miami Reagents Manufacturing and report to the Reagent Manufacturing Supervisor, responsible for leading the Hematology Control and Calibrators Manufacturing Area. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead a team of associates to successfully wash, package, and load/unload production equipment into the autoclave
- Run the autoclave machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise while strictly adhering to required documentation procedures
- Review batch records and autoclave run logs, complete and input PMs, and coordinate calibration of production equipment and servicing of the autoclave
- HS Diploma High school degree (or equivalent degree) with 7 years experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and skill with time management and meeting schedule deadlines.
- Previous experience as a team leader or other prior leadership experience.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without assistance and stand up to 7 hours a day.
- Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment.
- Previous experience working with an autoclave or other machines.
- Experience using Oracle or other ERP systems.
