The Staff DBSL Innovation is responsible for driving DBS Innovation engine, tools, DBS Fundamentals, and the development of DBS skills within the organization. It also involves actively contributing to the achievement of New Product Development Growth KPIs and fostering a strong DBS culture. This is achieved through hands-on support to teams, functions, and leaders, facilitating a deep understanding and commitment to DBS processes and best practices.
This is an on-site role which can be based in Indianapolis, IN, Miami, FL, or Loveland, CO.

This is achieved through hands-on support to teams, functions, and leaders, facilitating a deep understanding and commitment to DBS processes and best practices.
This is an on-site role which can be based in Indianapolis, IN, Miami, FL, or Loveland, CO.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Leverage the breadth of the end-to-end Innovation process to identify improvement priorities at the OpCo and Business Unit level. Deploy and support initiatives driving improvements across all Innovation KPI’s.
- Partner with senior leaders and project teams to leverage DBS to deliver annual OTD objectives, new product development key performance indicators (KPIs), and project level KPIs. This includes the installation and sustainment of high-quality daily management (DM), visual project management (VPM) and problem-solving process (PSP).
- Partner with functional and project leads on the kaizen process including kaizen funnel development, prioritization, resourcing, activation, and execution. Ensure effective sustainment of results and support problem solving as needed to close gaps to targets.
- Ensure that DBS Fundamentals are being used intentionally and with the right mindset across the Organization. Lead DBS-related events across sites, functions and business units. Directly provide formal and informal DBS training and coaching at all levels including coaching leaders to address change management barriers.
- Strengthen DBS maturity by ensuring annual DBS plan deployment, training, and mentoring certified practitioners.
- Bachelor’s degree with 14 years’ or Master’s degree with 12 years’ in Science, Engineering or Project Management or similar experience in continuous improvement systems (DBS, Lead Six Sigma, TPS, etc.)
- Ability to adjust and operate at different altitudes depending on the situation. Hands-on and detail-oriented while also being able to see the big picture. Think strategically with strong process orientation.
- Customer focused, strong interpersonal, communications skills and superior training skills
- Proven ability to influence leaders and teams without authority and build good relations with the teams through personal commitment and trust.
- Direct coaching and mentorship of leaders or teams; includes crucial conversations related to behaviors as well as challenges related to their team.
- Hands-on experience leading deployment of DBS tools: Policy Deployment, PPG, VSM, PSP, VM/DM, VPM, LEx, DFR and DSS.
- Demonstrated successful experience as Danaher Business System Leader.
- Ability to travel is required (domestic and internationally) up to 25% of time.
