The R&D IT Support Engineer is responsible for managing incoming support tickets, investigating customer issues, and providing troubleshooting assistance. This role involves technical research for solutions including root cause analysis and solution development. The engineer will also create and monitor support requests through Dassault Systems while developing long-term relationships with customers through excellent support and proactive problem-solving.

The R&D IT Support Engineer is responsible for managing incoming support tickets, investigating customer issues, and providing troubleshooting assistance. This role involves technical research for solutions including root cause analysis and solution development. The engineer will also create and monitor support requests through Dassault Systems while developing long-term relationships with customers through excellent support and proactive problem-solving.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Manage and resolve customer issues by handling incoming tickets and conducting technical research.
- Perform local and remote troubleshooting sessions to identify and implement solutions.
- Create, monitor, and follow up on Support Requests via Dassault Systems.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement and contributing to engineering service roadmaps.
- Build strong customer relationships through proactive support and effective communication
- Bachelor's degree with a degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science preferred or equivalent experience.
- Proficient with general troubleshooting including in areas such as Windows OS, Windows registry, firewalls, anti-malware applications, and networking
- Demonstrated experience in scripting/development with any programming or scripting language
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including proven experience creating high quality systems documentation
- Experience with ENOVIA, 3DEXPERIENCE or experience with other Dassault Systems software (3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA, ENOVIA, DELMIA, SIMULIA, SolidWorks) or other related software (PTC, Siemens, Autodesk, etc.)
